A very important part of the process of the Renew My Church initiative is the parish groupings. Our parish is grouped with our neighboring parishes: St. Hugh, Lyons; St Mary’s, Riverside; and Mater Christie, North Riverside. St. Mary’s Domestic Violence Prevention Committee chairperson, Mary Mc Gillicuddy is reaching out to us, as well as, neighboring parishes to build an awareness of her committee’s work. An invitation has been extended to any of our parishioners who may be interested in domestic violence prevention. Interested individuals would attend the St. Mary’s committee meetings, simply to observe or to become actively involved in their activities and to share the committee’s work with our parish.
