The Liturgical Arts and Environment Committee’s function is to create and maintain an appropriate, respectful, and prayerful environment in the church, sanctuary, and Narthex. The Committee helps to enhance our Church Liturgies by providing general thematic ideas to impact the choice of decor for the particular season of Liturgical celebration. Elements of nature, floral arrangements, banners, images and statues are some of the visual elements used to help inspire an atmosphere for devotional worship. The members of the Committee meet several times throughout the year to plan and prepare the worship space to reflect the changing seasons of the liturgical year that helps to visually express the words and actions of the liturgy.
