The Ministry of Music helps the worshipping community participate more fully in the liturgy by praying through song and providing a strong musical foundation.
Do you love to sing or play a musical instrument? Then consider becoming a part of the Music Ministry at St. Pius X Parish.
The Adult Choir is open to singers from high school age through adult. This choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and sings at Sunday Masses, alternating between the 8:00 a.m. Mass and the 10:30 a.m. Mass. They also sing at the Christmas Midnight Mass, the Christmas Day Mass, the Easter Triduum, and other special Masses throughout the year.
Cantors are members of the Adult Choir, and lead the congregation in singing the psalms and other liturgical music. Music reading is strongly encouraged.
Instrumentalists play at Masses throughout the year, especially on major feast days.

Seasonal Choirs Do you love to sing, but don’t want to commit to weekly rehearsals? Then consider joining a Christmas Choir or an Easter Choir – usually three rehearsals, and, of course, the feast days. Added bonus: front-row reserved seating on major holidays.
THE CONGREGATION! Do you love to sing, but don’t want to come to rehearsals? Then you have a place in the largest choir in the church! All that is necessary is 1) come to Mass, 2) open Breaking Bread, and 3) Make a Joyful Noise Unto the Lord!
